The Appleton-Whittell Research Ranch is an 8,000 ac (3160 ha) ecological field station managed by National Audubon Society, located in southern Arizona, USA. The collection of pressed specimens primarily represents the flora of AWRR, characterized as Madrean-mixed grass prairie, with other collections from surrounding areas and other prairie regions. The collection dates from the early 1970s and is housed at the headquarters of the Research Ranch outside Elgin, Arizona, USA.
